Major Health Partners strives to provide the highest quality healthcare and services available.
The reality of reduced reimbursement for healthcare services, combined with increases in charity care provided and the rising cost of providing the latest in healthcare advances, makes community support vital. We actively seek and truly value the community's philanthropic resources to help us continue to provide quality care.
Your contributions are important to us, so we make sure we recognize your giving at all levels through our special donor recognition programs.
Individual Giving: Gifts of any amount are appreciated and immediately acknowledged in writing. Unless the donor asks to remain anonymous, all donors' names are listed in our annual report.
The Acorn Club: This giving level recognizes individuals who make an annual gift between $100 and $999. These donors are listed on a permanent donor display inside the hospital and in the Foundation's annual report, receive a personal thank you note, and receive invitations to a special recognition event each year for Acorn Club Members as well as other Foundation and Hospital events.
The Royal Oak Society: This giving level recognizes individuals who make an annual gift between $1,000 and $10,000. These donors are listed on a permanent donor display inside the hospital and in the Foundation's annual report, receive a personal thank you note, and receive invitations to an exclusive recognition event each year for Royal Oak Society Members as well as other Foundation and Hospital events.
The Major Legacy Society: Recognizes individuals who have indicated that they have made a planned gift to the Major Hospital Foundation or Major Health Partners.
Major Angel: These are gifts are made in honor of a caregiver who went above and beyond in caring for you during your time with us. If you choose to make a Major Angel Gift, you will receive a thank you note and be listed as a donor (but not as a patient) in our annual report, and if your gift is over $100, on the donor display. The caregiver that you choose to honor will receive a note letting them know that a gift was made in their honor (without revealing your name or the amount) and a lapel pin that denotes their "Major Angel" status.
Memorial & Tribute Gifts: Major Hospital Foundation offers friends and family a way to memorialize their loved ones through the Tree of Life. The Tree of Life, a beautiful and dignified tribute, is located in the lobby of Major Hospital. Its design incorporates the names of people who have been remembered though a gift to the Major Hospital Foundation.
Another beautiful way to memorialize or pay tribute is through an engraved paver in the Healing Garden at Benesse Oncology Center.
Business/Corporate Giving: Gifts to the Major Hospital Foundation are recognized through Major Business Partners. To become a Major Business Partner, a business pledges for three years in amounts ranging from $250 a year to $5,000 a year. These donors are listed on a permanent donor display inside the hospital and in the Foundation's annual report, receive a personal thank you note, and receive invitations to an exclusive recognition event each year for Major Business Partners as well as other Foundation and Hospital events.
